Hinata should of learned some Genjutsu

I mean lets think about it, Hinata had a expert sensei in genjutsu yet Hinata never ever thought of asking Kurenai to train in anything not even genjutsu. There are many Ninjas that ask their sensei to train to learn such as these:

Sasuke trained with Kakashi and then Orochimaru
Naruto trained with Jiraiya and Kakashi
Sakura trained with Kakashi and then Tsunade
Rock Lee trained with Gai

Hinata never asked any sensei to train, she only trained with Neji and her father.

Hmm there are many genjutsu user who are OP such as these below:

Tayuya with her sound genjutsu
Kabuto with his sound genjutsu
Itachi with Tsukiyomi and finger genjutsu
Sasuke with Rinnengan genjutsu
Shisui Koto genjutsu
Obito MS genjutsu
Gengetsu Hōzuki with his clam genjutsu
Sage frog with their frog song

They are quite powerful at genjutsu

Ever since she developed the Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists. I wanted her powers to develop into lion themed. I think if given the right screen time she could have developed into a versatile Hyuuga who has her own style of fighting. Combining Hamaru's chakara with her abilities to manipulate chakara into making Lion heads. She would have been an exciting prospect. I believe she could have been the best exponent of Chakara control.

I completely agree. Hinata is just perfect to be that close range fighter, I could just picture her spamming jyuken palms and lion fists with outstanding control and finesse

Not just close range but long range as well. Best part is she already has good eyes that could allow her to see in far distances. I think Byakugan is a perfect eye for long range users. Besides the eye alone could develop into a better weapon.

Comparing the difficulty of main branch techniques to the difficulty of simple genjutsu? Tsk tsk.

The moment you can see chakra, having speed and good reaction then Genjutsu is like an double egde cause if you missed it you are doomed. Just like Itachi casted Tsukuyomi on a clone and he could not moved after that or his Tsukuyomi being shattered by curse mark sharingan and Itachi got fatigued....

In this team you got three of the most strongest clans with a sensei who has knowledge of each of them.

They're pretty reasonable/realistic abilities too.

OT : she doesn't have the intelligence to be proficient at genjutsu and having Byakugan doesn't make her genjutsu type

If only Hinata and sakura were one character. then out of the three members of the team 7, only one end pairing is determined, it would have made a more effective tension
