I didn't rank any shinobi other than Tenten that we've never seen fight so that's why I excluded Kiba's mom and sister, Karui, Mabui, and some others. For female shinobi if Hinata is considered strong than the list ends right after her for strong kunochi.

I forgot Kurotsuchi let me redo the list.

lol how much hater... if we don't count the fillers, then Hiashi is the leader of the Hyuugas in the war and not Neji... if my memory serves well.

also how can you say someone is weak or strong if you didn't see him/her fighting? this whole stupid manga/anime is only about Naruto and Sasugay... and Sakura's crying of course.

the fact is we only saw the side characters in part 1, but now there's part 2 and 3 years have passed. we don't know how much they changed because Kishi didn't show them us.

so what we know about her?
- she was weak in part 1 (still stronger than Sakura, Ino, Ten Ten)
- she made a totally new jutsu for herself
- possibly she trained with Neji
- she stand up against Pain (even if she was defeated badly) and gets some credit for this
- now she is strong enough to fight side by side with Neji

the only problem with her is she doesn't have any confidence and she's not aggressive enough, so she couldn't progress properly. but compare her to her previous self. she progressed a lot and she will do too... this is the reason she can't lead the Hyuuga clan.

in the oringinal series her father gave up on her she to gentle which i say is not a good reason to give up on some one really any way he trained Hanabi and has named her as his successor

I don't mind it. Hinata is too kind for this position, but I hope she will mature more and grow up for it. Hanabi's personality is interesting too, it's a shame we can't see her much... =(

It should actually be Neji as he from a young age was proclaimed a genius, first of the former Konoha 11 to rank jounin and possesses mastery skills seeing as through observation he perfected many of the forbidden secret Hyuuga jutsu.

He would definitely make an exceptional leader of his clan as even Tsunade stated Neji to have excellent instincts in the battlefield/as a leader.​

Hiashi Hyuga has made it pretty clear that Hinata's younger sister Hanabi will be the most likely successor.

what did you smoke? how much battle did you see from Hinata? I'll tell you. 2... 1 in the first part and 1 against Pain. also Sakura got help against Sasori.

And Hinata looked awful in both battles.As for sakura getting help, Lady Chiyo clearly stated during that battle that sakura didn't even need her help.Not matter how you cut it, Sakura has shown much better battle skills then hinata.From developing an antidote before hand just in case, to luring in Sasori by playing death so he would come in for the kill and she could destroy his puppet.To taking on the thousand of puppets to get to sasori's real puppet form and hit him with the Lion-Headed Kannon.Sakura feats so far in the series clearly outweighs Hinata's.This is no knock on Hinata, it's just the facts.And saying they are both the same level is unnecessary.Anyone who reads the manga or watch the series knows they are both Chunin, but one has shown better battle skills than the other.
