That's the root of the whole problem with Sakura. It's now apparent that Kishimoto might be regretting or even admitting his mistake with Sakura's character. If this is Sakura's only purpose, then it is very offending to females. I've already started hearing it on youtube a few minutes ago. Sakura does not represent the females in naruto, but she is the MAIN female, she's suppose to be at the center stage, being badass and self-independent. She's suppose to be a strong female character. My problem is that She has no unique abilities, that are only unique to her. Sakura is not a terrible person, she is just a bad designed character.



Kishimoto made her a "normal girl" and now it looks like that came back to bite him in the butt. She is now just "meh". The average joe, the average female. Nothing unique about her. It's now apparent that sakura's purpose was to balance out naruto & sasuke's tragedies and because of that, she has nothing special to offer.

She relies on the standard shonen female archetype to get by. Kishi has admitted his mistake, by making sakura a medical ninja, because now she has to stay on the sidelines while fodders and secondary female characters like Ten Ten steal the spotlight. It's becoming clearer that Kishi is using the medical ninja rules to explain why sakura isn't fighting, which works to his advantage and it can cover up his mistake. it seems to me like kishi has plans for the whole konoha 11 except sakura because she has rules to stay on the sideline.

Right absolutely and also the reason why Sakura sucks to me, Sakura is one of the four main characters of the story along with Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi. When comes to character development out the four, Sakura is in dead last place you can't even see her cause Sakura is so far behind in development and her skills as a ninja are average barely. Sakura having a normal background type as a main female lead is very bad because Sakura isn't going to be able to relate or understand characters who are complex like Neji or Gaara for example.

What's keeps Sakura going in character development is Sasuke, Sakura character development circles around Sasuke, like Hinata character circles around Naruto the only difference this has hurt Sakura character more then improve. Sakura back in the sound four arc cryed cause she couldn't stop Sasuke and plead for Naruto to save Sasuke for her, I just think if Sakura really like Sasuke that much she should had went with Naruto to confront Sasuke, instead of sitting on the side-lines in my opinion. When we got to the kage summit Sakura lied to Naruto about her loving him (which was wrong and bad idc what anyone says xD), so she can handle Sasuke herself so Sasuke doesn't sink any lower. Sakura of course couldn't attack cause she still in love with him :sy:, even though Sakura said she would be prepared to deal Sasuke she wasn't and Sakura almost got killed by Sasuke without hesitation.

I think Kishi has forgotten Sakura at least it feels that way to me.

Sakura role basically switches like this to me:

Sakura(main character)----->Sakura(support)------>Sakura(sits in bg and say hi)-------->Who is Sakura again?

Medical ninjas like Sakura must first pull you out of battle to feel your arm to see were it's dislocated so they can reset it and heal it, Madara and Obito are not going to wait for that, please stop the war need to set a shoulder. Only Hinata with Her eyes can see and with gentel fist repair the shoulder in the middle of of a battle at warp speed.

Well said! You don't have time to stop in the middle of a war. Look how long it took Lee to get to Neji's body. He couldn't just grab him and start mourning with Obito and Madara having the Ten-Tails attacking. Quick death for Lee.
