Stats Breakdown
These two kunoichi seem to be almost evenly matched with sakura having a slight advantage in stats. though stats do not matter, they should to be considered when approaching a VS thread. Though the numbers may not be accurate due to possible skill increases, we can assume the values have not change very much. all values have a maximum attribute potential of 5 as many of you may know. Sakura is faster, more intelligent and has more power in her punches than hinata. and judging by the stats has slightly more chakra than hinata. We can say that skill wise, Sakura is the better Ninja.
Offensive Breakdown
Sakura:Sakura is a medical ninja with the potential to heal herself. because her specialty is medical ninjutsu, we can say she is rather advanced when it comes to chakra control. This also allows her to amplify her strength by putting chakra behind her punches. the result of this is rather devastating when struck with an attack from her.
Superhuman strength is sakura's main offensive skill. Though her power is great, she seems to have average developed taijutsu skill for current level of chuunin.
Hinata:She is a user of the Gentle fist style which is anchored by the Byakugan. The Byakugan locates chakra points and with precision her gentle fist allows her to stop chakra from flowing through her opponents body by striking said points. Her taijutsu also can be effective from distance with Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm.To perform it, the user precisely pinpoints the enemy's vital points with the Byakugan and releases a high-speed palm thrust. Chakra is released from the palm, thus striking the target. She can also inhance her punches by molding chakra around them. Her Twin Lion Fist jutsu is evidence of this.
Defensive Breakdown
Sakura: She flat out does not have very good defense. She is rather evasive, but does not have very many means for avoiding damage. Sakura's defensive strategy for a fight with hinata would simply be a matter of dodging as many attacks as possible with her evasion skills.
Hinata: She does not seem to posses any of the defensive moves from her clan as far as the manga is concerned. so far in the manga we have yet to see her use rotation. though she does not use this technique, her hand to hand combat defense is rather well. Her gentle fist style along with Byakugan provide higher than average hand to hand defense. Her ninjutsu defense however is low because it is unknown if she has rotation or not. she is also abit slow making it harder for her to dodge speedy attacks.
Thats my analysis of the characters based off of evidence I have found. Because both users specialize in taijutsu this will most likely be a hand to hand combat battle for the most part. Sakura's main asset is her strength so she will need to get in close to attack hinata with her devastating strength. Hinata's Taijutsu is high so she can potentially counter punches directed at her, but as far as punches to the ground in her immediate area, she would have to evade or take damage from the broken earth. Hinata could also push her back from a distance with her vacuum palm jutsu aswell so sakura can get hit from up close and at a distance. All in all im Giving this battle to Hinata because of her ability to attack from long range and up close. Sakura's main ability is her chakra control and if her chakra point get stopped she cannot produce the massive amount of power she needs to win the match.
I am giving this match to Hinata with a difficulty level of 8
