Don't really care because she don't really affects on the plot.

1. Gave Naruto the confidence to carry out/not cheat on the written exam.

2. Encouraged Naruto to face and defeat Neji

3. Indirectly saves him from Pain

4. Would have saved him from Mokuton Spikes had it not been for Neji

5. Saved Naruto from despair after Neji's death.


Not always leading a plot, but has had key moments in which she's allowed the protagonist to continue his way of never backing down. And quite frankly for a side character this is rather amazing.




OT: I'd say she's changes the most (other than Gaara), however, development wise we did not get to see her as much when Naruto was not around/wasn't doing something based around Naruto (the war). As such we never got to see her development with her team, sensei, cousin, and father. Making her seem souly revolved around Naruto...while this is definitely not true, the manga only portrays her around and thus thinking about Naruto.

As always, every time there's an Hinata thread, Sakura has to be involved and the fanboys from either one just don't know when to keep their mouths shut and move on.

To answer the question, no, she hasn't. Her only major change was gaining more confidence, other then that, she's still the same shy girl we knew from part 1.

She's still weak. But yeah, compare her development, as a side character, to Sakura's development,a main character, and it makes you realize how bad of a character Sakura is.....

Overall however, characters like Gaara have developed a lot more....

She is the worst female char imo.She's still weaker than Part 1 Neji hasn't mastered all the main branch jutsu's(something a cadet branch like Neji accomplished at 13).Her obsession over Naruto is stupid her whole character revolves around Naruto, notice how in the war she's always saying "i must protest Naruto-Kun" or "his hands are so warm".I was expecting more of a reaction to Neji's death but instead she focused on once again Naruto.

She's boring no Naruto = No Hinata.Her whole existance depends on Naruto.

Hinata has developed. She went from very shy to confident. But, overall her development is poor.

The problem is that everything about her character revolves around Naruto as of Shippuden. She had that interesting stuff with her clan in Part 1 but, except for crying when Neji died and her dad showing Neji's dad that her and Neji fight together, it's all been thrown out the window for her bond with Naruto. Hell, we just know she's a part of Team Kurenai. We don't know a single thing about her bonds with any of her comrades. That's Hinata's major flaw development-wise. If we take out her feelings for Nauto, she can be taken out of Shippuden.

I'm not going to bother trying to debate about Sakura. I really like her and think she's a fairly well-developed character. But, I know that people just hate her, for their own reasons. As much as I disagree, people can think what they like.
