Well in the title is somethink about love, so it is possiable (close100%)... and we already know that will happen so...
He didn't? Because it does. Only idiots and Sakura fans (pretty much the same thing) believe Naruto and Sakura would end up together.

Aside from all that, Kiba looks hella badass now. I wish he wasn't such a fodder character tho.
Never mind i spoke too soon.

It naruto doesn't end up with sakura then Kishi just went a full 180 on all the development
It would prove that Kishi would rather go with bad romance between two people that have no chemistry between each other and barley any depth in their relationship, over a romantic pairing between two people whom clearly care for each other and have a deep relationship.
Though I couldn't really care wich way he goes with cause the romance in this series is too poorly written for me to be interested in.

Dat damage control doe.

Although it may hint towards it, I'm just taking all of this with a grain of salt.

People's reactions are really entertaining though.

All. Of. This.

NaruHina completely lacks depth and development.

Crack pairings are still the best, though.

Their is nothing no character development with Naruto and Sakura. Sakura for 697 chapters has only loved Sasuke thats history.
Um, what? Lol please get your head out of the clouds and read the entire manga again. Naruto and Sakura's relationship shits all over NH's, the latter has none like at all. Also, Naruto has always been in love with Sakura and that's history.

Kids tend to think this way.

The problem with Naruto and Sakura as a romantic pairing is that it hasn't ever developed any romance or attraction to it. In the early chapters, Sakura served as a catalyst for the conflict between Naruto and Sasuke. She was also critical in establishing the fact that Naruto was not appreciated in the village.

Take Sakura out of Part 1, and the rivalry between Sasuke and Naruto seems unnatural and awkward. Further, we don't really get the impression that Naruto is detested.

Sakura represents, in many regards, the village. The village often marveled at the Uchiha and sought their attention. The village often detested Naruto and would strike down (literally) his efforts to garner their attention. Sakura is the blossom that mirrors the attitude of the Leaf.

And not much changes after the conclusion of Part 1.

Sakura backtracks in her development as a character. Rather than treating Naruto as a comrade - she lies to him in an attempt to use his feelings to control him - then sets out on a mission, alone, that she knows she will be unable to complete (and disables those who did come with her).

"Quick, Sakura - crush my eye before he gets back!"

"Wha????"

"I'll be taking the eye, now."

"Damnit, Sakura."

She's not a strong or decisive character. She's not developed a strength to her convictions. About the only thing she has been predictable on is Sasuke.

What would develop her character is if she stood before Sasuke, at this point in time, and told him to straighten up - rather than relying on Naruto as a proxy. Her feelings toward Sasuke are very similar to Naruto's feelings for Sasuke. So far, she's allowed Naruto to bear the brunt of expressing that and in dealing with Sasuke.

If it turns out that Sakura intervenes in the coming chapter, then it will not be so much to save Naruto as much as it will be to save Sasuke.

Which is how her and Naruto's friendship would have them work together.

As for Hinata...

From a purely personal standpoint - the lack of solid interaction between the two yet the expression of admiration for each other gives them the opportunity to actually develop a romantic relationship. Naruto has not displayed a disinterest in talking to her. It seems quite the opposite. The challenge to that has always been Hinata's self-defeating character quirk - which she has rectified to a large degree.

Hinata has developed into a strong and decisive character. She doesn't hesitate to put her life on the line when she has decided she is willing to - and she doesn't hesitate to correct Naruto when his character is drifting down the wrong path.

She may not be loud and boisterous about it, but she's developed the strength and decisiveness that she once lacked.

And I think that would appeal to Naruto. He's been very used to being combated at every corner over things. He's used to being yelled at, called stupid, etc.

[Eh - it's close]

That's how Hinata handles it - reminds him of who he is, that he is better than the error he is about to make.

Naruhina has gone from Naruto inspiring Hinata to not give up - to Hinata doing just the same for Naruto. There is a system of mutual support, there, that lays the groundwork for a deeper and more intimate relationship.
