I guess he was for humor since he actually doesn't show emotion besides that moment.

neither does hinata, she only shows emtion wen comes to naruto, so wouldnt it be humour too show humour in case for sasuke part

I think the reason Shino reacted is because when you want to show what someone says is surprising or shocking it's best to use a character that normally doesn't react.

Sasuke declaring he'll be Hokage was so unexpected that even Shino reacted.

Yeah agree with that ha ha sasuke saying that was shocking
Any howwouldnt be nice to see hinata have reaction on sasuke statment, especially wen u never see theses two character ever interact

sigh. my guess :
kishi wants to show as many reactions as possible , yet panel spaces are limited and those reaction panels has to have similar patterns in order that the manga layout looks natural
since hinata happens to be not as near as kiba's dog and shino , therefore that panel cannot encomposs that much range to contain her as part of the comic relief . hinata wasn't shown to have reaction =/= she didn't have any reaction .

to me , hinata tends to react more calmly than shino does in the usual days . maybe she's slow to react to this kind of astonishment , or that a blank facial expression is her way to react to shock news (unless it's sth that would embarrass her)

yet kishi had panel space to show hinata reaction to wen sasuke arrived but not on his statement, also remember naruto wasnt shocked too which is shocking because he should be the most shocked since it is always his dream, naruto deff knows something

I have a feeling that this is Hinata praise/Sakura bash thread in disguise.

OT: Hinata doesn't show emotion towards Sasuke coming to the battlefield and wanting to become Hokage because she simply doesn't give a ****. She never cared about Sasuke or any of his plans. She was even one of the only K11 members to not try and stop Sasuke or even react to Sasuke leaving the village.

this not sakura bash thread, in matter of fact sakura is lot like me and well hinata isnt but i just like hinata better, am saying sakura is useless, I am just making statement, this nothing thats got to with hinata knowing sasuke or caring about is just that I think hinata and naruto know something ecause they didnt react to sasuke statement the rest konaha did, also naruto knew something was present inside sasuke this was only mentioned in the last chpt if naruto knew aout sasuke then am guessing sasuke knows about naruto too or felt it
