I think that thread has been made before,eather she couldnt because of the material that mask was made of or Kishi forgot about the Byakugan like he sometimes does.

I know I'm saying while she has the Byakugan activated. For example one of the Sharingan's techniques is being able to see the flow of chakra but we know that Sasuke (just an example!!) probably doesn't use that anymore because of him spamming Susano'o, btw he is my favorite character.
