I've never used tablets. don't have money for that...

I draw the picture on paper first, then I scan it onto the computer and ink. It was created by my two hands. I only use Photoshop for coloring and backgrounds. And yeah, good tablets are really expensive. I use a mouse when I draw on the computer.

The pictures really good, except for one thing. Her forearm sizes, bit longer and it's spot on.

I have a small Bamboo tablet, but I never use it because it runs really slow on my computer. So, I learned to draw with a mouse. It took years of practice before I could draw a straight line with a mouse. xd

You can try Paintool sai.
Use the curve tool on an ink layer is way easier and looks more awesome.
