Neji and Sasuke should have had a fight in the Chunin Exams. Now to answer your question, I think he could have hit Deva Path.

Deva would've annihilated neji just as easily.

Deva is much stronger than all the other paths combined. Hinata was fodder to him & neji would be as well.

tsunade and the anbu tried to do that and deva told them that was pointless before a god and then he floated into the sky and blew konoha to pieces...

people believe team guys could have beat him...which is possibly true because its a whole team vs 1 so they should win but dnt underestimate deva path because he was one of the fastest shinobi we had ever seen at that time we effortlessly out ran 4 tail kyuubi naruto and he even matched sm naruto in taijutsu so dnt think just cause guy has the 7 gates he solo's because gai and his team will get almighty pushed to death and they have no way of beating chibaku tensei and i knw for a fact if it was gai's team vs the entire 6 paths then the 6 paths win neg neg diff...


sm naruto would have lost neg diff had kishi not purposely weaken deva just before naruto came, had deva been active then naruto wouldnt have hit a single pain...
