Toneri's probably doing stuff to Hinata to bring out Haruma's power. Any logical person knows that since he's trying to create another Kaguya, there has to be a reason why he choose Hinata. Aka, she has potential. It's obvious that Hinata does something to Naruto to help him fight. Considering Toneri has Naruto's Rikkudo SM while Naruto's reduced to BSM, there's no way he can overpower him unless someone else contributes in power, such as Hinata with Haruma power. Basically OP, you're saying Naruto's Kurama link mode, is going to beat rikkudo SM, the power the databook says it's inferior to, without any outside help. Wow. You take buthurt to the extreme.

If nothing else, we'll get actual feats from her to judge her level. I read one of those spoiler threads, where there's a quote from TAKL "And yes, Hinata could easily beat all the male puppets." So, considering some of these puppets can stalemate Naruto (base or not, he's matched Sasuke in CQB, and they could have only gotten better) she's probably gotten a lot better.

Well if you followed the fillers of her and her sister. You can see what was the real weakness of her character. She had the potential just not the mindset. She could never execute her opponents because she was too kind. From the looks of the trailers and spoilers it seems she has changed quiet a bit. I think things with her will get more interesting in this movie.

fillers are not canon and judging from how SP are hinata fans they would do such thing to make their fav look good.


the purple chakra thing is not chakra from hamura it's just plain recolor of her twin lion fist just like how they recolored naruto's raseshuriken just for the heck of it.

hamura didn't give hinata a power up he only told that he didn't want the ootutsuki to destroy earth that's all

use logic:

-if hamura had that power then sealing kaguya would've been a piece pf cake and he wouldn't nee hago.

-kaguya should've had such eye.

so no hinata is not and will never be above part 1 neji.

Fillers are not canon. But this filler defiantly added depth into her character. Plus its a special from the movie. Believe it or not these fillers actually added more depth into the characters than the manga itself.
