I disagree, not only she was neglected by her own dad beacause of her lack of talent, she mastered 64 palms like 3 years after her cousin did, and she didn't canonically mastered Kaiten yet...
Plus, Sakura had already superior stats by early Part 2, now, after mastering Byakugou, which includes regeneration, a great extra pool of chakra, summoning and global power raise, it's not even funny anymore.

For me it's pretty clear... Maybe the movie will change my opinion.

The chakra is Hamura chakra, which she in fact receives from Hamura and the rest of his clan from a zombie (this is actually the weird truth) Naruto attempts to destroy the tenseigan, but Hinata tells him that only Hamura chakra can affect it, and she charges the received purple chakra and does the twin lion strike. Because Hinata lacks a forceful enough attack, it is useless, and that is where Naruto suggests that the two of them attack together; Hinata to provide the chakra, and Naruto to provide the strength. They make a purple lion (that looks like a dragon) with a glowing ball inside of it. This attack works.

In conclusion, while Hinata does in fact receive more potent chakra, because she is Hinata (and lacks attack strength as per her character) it doesn't seem to be much of a factor.

Toneri's probably doing stuff to Hinata to bring out Haruma's power. Any logical person knows that since he's trying to create another Kaguya, there has to be a reason why he choose Hinata. Aka, she has potential. It's obvious that Hinata does something to Naruto to help him fight. Considering Toneri has Naruto's Rikkudo SM while Naruto's reduced to BSM, there's no way he can overpower him unless someone else contributes in power, such as Hinata with Haruma power. Basically OP, you're saying Naruto's Kurama link mode, is going to beat rikkudo SM, the power the databook says it's inferior to, without any outside help. Wow. You take buthurt to the extreme.
