Instead of image spamming, actually refute my argument.

Canon is where the content in mind is relevant to the story. All filler episodes are presented in the timeline, whether they are in the present or go back to the past. That filler episode last week was during the inauguration of the 5th Hokage. It was during that time period, except it was just a scene not presented in the main plot. But it is still CANON, because it is not presented in an alternate timeline or alternate plotline.
You're assuming it's possible that Sasuke was in a good enough mood, at any point during his recovery, to escape and go celebrate by watching some fireworks. But no, in canon he was awake only about a day or so with a lot on his mind and lashing out at everybody who tried to talk to him. Him taking the time to go watch fireworks (especially with Naruto around, he was having severe inferiority complex at the time, was he actually able to set it aside for a day for some fireworks?? How convenient.) Not canon. The issue isn't whether it falls in a place on the timeline where it would fit, but also whether it's plausible given what the characters are going through during that period. Sasuke was NOT in a condition to go out during any time during his stay in the hospital. He wanted to go up on the roof with Naruto and Sakura told him he still wasn't better. She was worried about him, she wouldn't try to sneak him out just for a little fun.

I believe it had become the policy of Konoha to include some level of medical ninja capability in all ninja teams and to reinforce that medical specialty on high ranking missions.

So I wouldn't be surprised to see that Hinata -could- heal.

That said - she has never been depicted in the manga as implementing healing jutsu. At least, insofar.

I would say that the anime is making a fairly safe bet in depicting Hinata as having the ability to heal. It's not just Chakra control that would make her a good healer - it's also the fact that the Hyuga embody Taoism, which formed the basis for a lot of traditional Chinese medicine. The fighting style of the Hyuga seems to draw from multiple real-world fighting styles drafted from Taoist principles: , , and - the first two seemingly representing the "Gentle Fist" and "Gentle Step" respectively, while the last seems to inspire the Hyuga's manipulation of chakra networks by interrupting and manipulating the flow/cycle of organ function (also known for its strikes that are quite lethal and pin-point).

So, I would say that they are very, very safe in assuming that Hinata has the ability to heal.

That said - we still have yet to see it happen in the manga - so it may remain apocryphal.

Thanks for clearing up the confusion. Would you like a reach-around as a reward, considering what is about to happen?

hinata has no training in anatomy or the human body.

It can easily be said that a Hyuga requires substantially less training than your average medical ninja because they can directly see the results of any action taken (not to mention their family art focuses specifically upon manipulating the function of the body). It could even be argued that they can become medical ninja above and beyond anything possible through typical medical ninjutsu - as the focus of the Hyuga arts is to directly manipulate the chakra network - something even Tsunade is incapable of doing. Through manipulating this network, they could (at least in theory) reinforce the body's chakra networks around injury that further enhances recovery and the resources available for them to affect healing using more classic methods.

mystical palm is too dangerous to be used by those who dont know what they are doing
And Hinata... with the x-ray chakra-scan vision provided by the Byakugan with a family art specialized in ****ing with your body... couldn't possibly know what she is doing.

Damn you've beaten me to the punch and if people really believe that doesn't work look at her putting naruto arm right back in place it.

*cringes a little*

I'm not sure if I'd call that the same as "healing." Hinata, certainly, uses the Gentle Fist to set Naruto's shoulder back into place (which is, if my understanding is correct, what was going on, there). Which is not quite the same as using it to heal.

Though it would refute the argument that she is completely clueless about anatomy (though it doesn't necessarily carry that she has in-depth understanding to be able to use medical ninjutsu...).

Guys not joking can hinata heal??
The manga has never shown her using medical ninjutsu.

The closest we get to Hinata healing in the manga is when she uses a Juuken strike to set Naruto's shoulder back into place. Whether that was the 'Gentle Fist used to heal' or simply a dramatic way of pushing his shoulder into place, normally is not explored by the manga.

Thus - the 'simple' answer is: "Hinata has not been shown to have the ability to use healing/medical ninjutsu, such as the Mystic Palm technique."

However, it is certainly reasonable - given the mechanics of the Hyuga - that she could.

If Hinata could heal she would of attempted to heal Neji before he was about to die, regardless if he wouldn't of been able to be healed she would of tried. Also they called for a medic when Hinata was right there.

Just wanted to clear up that right now, she can't. But your right that it's reasonable for her to learn it.
