Filler episodes are FILLEr between CANON episode, which are taken directly from the manga, while filler is made by a team of animators and is such not actually true material.

Thank you for being the one person to explain why my post was wrong, instead of slamming me for being ignorant of what is and isn't considered non-canon. I've experienced anime and manga where the author overseen the anime and thus made filler that was canon to the original story. This is why I was thinking the two were ambiguous.

The fanbase needs to consider it canon too, but it doesn't because it never happened in the manga, the source material, you can say that Kishimoto stating that Hyūga posess very good chakra control points to them having potential in medical jutsu, but you can't call this scene canonical by any means.

So no, she can't heal like that, atleast not canonically until proven otherwise.

Canon is where the content in mind is relevant to the story. All filler episodes are presented in the timeline, whether they are in the present or go back to the past. That filler episode last week was during the inauguration of the 5th Hokage. It was during that time period, except it was just a scene not presented in the main plot. But it is still CANON, because it is not presented in an alternate timeline or alternate plotline.
