Hinata is the nicest person so of course she is gunna say something plus they are teamates not just friends so they have a different relationship then just friends do.

She just acknowledged Kiba's words because they are friends; and it is nice for her development because she lacked reletion and interest to characters other than Naruto; she should have more in that department and she got some.

If that was a pairing moment; then pretty much everyone in the manga who talked to their teammates and comrades are couples.

i noticed but i wish kishi would stop taking away character development i mean serious make hinata say something more meaningful and assetive than being all shy again. Seriously come on there are like only 3 well wriiten female characters in the series and i want to add hinata as my fourth but kishi keeps doing this crap.
