Hinata was a very nice and shy person but this was also her weakness point...i mean she gets emotional very quick...

No. Orihime is the better version of Hinata. She is actually useful in battle. I dont find Himawari cute nor do I find that comic relief Naruto scene funny so neutral on her.

Had to disagree @Bold sorry man but that's false. I'd take Hinata over Orihime any day. Orihime useless af unless you're hella injured and somewhere safe so she can heal you.

Agreed on the development and panel time but Orihime overall is a trash character tbh. They're the same but Hinata although weak is a better fighter than Orihime. Tho i'd say they did about the same the last and Orihime in general did something but also nothing.

Do you know what Orihime did? Hinata is nothing compared to her. She appears with the MC a lot more times other then every couple of chapters or so. She as been involved with more villains than Hinata and we can see interactions not just in fight shut even in timeoutsThe way she behaves and how she treats the MC is uncannily similar to hinata. What you just stated Hinata did, orihime did that a lot of times during the series but that's not the only thing she did. She was more relevant to the plot then Hinata ever was. And she is also a healer which blends in better with Hinata's personality than being a fighter and was involved in a tag team fight with the MC in the manga. The author also did not make Rukia useless like Sakura although comparisons between the 2 will inevitably be made

I suggest you read through her wiki entries ro find out what all she did. Hinata doesn't compare and has done nothing in comparison

So I am correct in stating that compared to Orihime Hinata did nothing. Although I find both of them annoying to read

I am not talking of fighting. She would lose on that front. I am talking as a character. The healing ability also is useful during fights. Hinata keeps getting oneshotted the moment she enters major fights throughout the manga. Hinata is completely irrelevant in Naruto if you compare Orihime's relevance to the plot in Bleach.
