To get away from the endless Boruto/Sarada obsession I have created this thread for those more interested in Himawari.

She may not be a main character in the spin-off or even in the upcoming movie, but I personally hope we see more of this little Hime.

Appearance wise she definitely looks more of an uzumaki-Hyuuga mixture than Bolt. So hopefully she will have potential.

What are your hopes? Expectations? AND
Who thinks she is so ridiculously cute?​

She's what, like 3-4? Kishi has work with the Naruto franchise until summer, this series starts in spring. Approx 30 chapters. Yeah, I doubt there will be any significant timeskips or battles in it. I also doubt she'll be very relevant. Lol

Read what I wrote. I explicitly stated the same thing. But talking about the main characters is boring. I hope she will play some part. Her interactions with Bolt and Nardo will be one to anticipate.

I realize it's too soon to tell, and I'm largely trying to stay unbiased regarding the kids, but my honest opinion is that she looks like a complete fodder. The only other time I've gotten this vibe from a kid is when I laid my eyes upon Udon.

As for the cute part... yeah, I guess you can say she's adorable.

None of this matters... at all. Just like everyone, you seem to be under the impression that the parents decide the child's strength, which is just false. The only impressive Uzumaki is Naruto, largely because of Kurama - something Himi does not have -, and the Hyuuga's eye power is not something she inherited either. Don't even know why you're bringing Minato into this.

Leave all that aside, and there's still the fact that Boruto will undoubtedly be getting the focus on the already very short Part 3 series, so the chances that she will be Udon-level are actually pretty high.

Nagato? You freaking kidding me? The guy that would be absolutely nothing without Madara's eyes? And what's so impressive about Kushina and Karin except their chakra chains, which, again, only full-blooded Uzumaki have demonstrated? Mito is completely featless, by the way.

Wow! That's shocking man. Kushina was able to restrain the 9 tails. I would hardly call that fodder. And Nagato? I don't know even know where to begin. Can a complete fodder wield the rennegan? And have the chakra to handle it? Why did Madara pick him? As a madara fan I am insulted lol.

No. It's an analogy. You cannot state that genes are irrelevant that's just plain ludicrous. I would agree with you If you said it's plays some role but not a definitive predeterminer of power

We will probably see some of her dynamics with Boruto, Naruto and Hinata.
Uzumaki are no fodder
Or else they wouldnt be feared and destroyed.
People who say that are just not having it. Or cause they aren't Uchiha etc.
