If you watch this censored you need to grow some hair on your sack. First season covers vol 1 and 2.

Second season covers vol 3 and 4.

Third season tried to cover 3 volumes (vol 5, 6 and 7), in which it was a bad adaption and they skipped important key stuff that in the future will be used so the anime watchers will be confused.

Light Novel > Anime > Manga.

I can give you 2 options.

You can watch the third season and then read from volume 5 or you can read the light novels and then watch the anime.

There's a reason as to why the anime skipped important stuff but that would be spoiling .

Let's just say that DxD Born did a Steins;Gate in a nutshell do you get it?

It wasn't the animators fault though. It was the author. He wanted this to happen. There are reasons but that would be spoiling you... I don't think it's a spoiler atm... you know that issei will get a harem and lot of wives.. I can tell you a little bit if you want.
