A lot of Dropouts are 3-times more Successful then Master Degree Holder, you don't need it.

You don't get it.

Dropping out because you have 2 years left, only to have to take GED courses for at least a year, to get a less respected degree just to go to college and go down a career path anyway is retarded.

Might as well burn $150 just to win a bet for $100.

I doubt many colleges accept GED recipients. If they do, it'll be very few at that. Your next step would be to community college which is literally just high school.

I think the main point of high school you're missing out on is that it's more so to prepare you for the next level in life, which ideally would be college. So skipping high school because it's boring and going straight to college after getting your GED is a huge waste of time because you'll be so far behind your peers.

thanks for the answers you guys im kind of getting what your saying i guess i should think about this really hard

When you want to get your GED, you'll still end up having to study a hell of a lot, and if you don't you will fail the test for sure. High school is easier than getting your GED and looks better to Universities.

Don't throw away your life, bro.

Yeah, but if you look at statistics, people who go to College, generally do better. Just because some really successful people didn't go to college, doesn't mean you'd do as well as them if you didn't. Those people are typically geniuses and great entrepreneurs/visionaries.

so anyone here drop out of highschool? so for those that didn't finish it how is it going for you right now?
since i plan on dropping out, also to take the ged did i have to study middle school in the USA? since i was born in the USA, but study middle school in mexico

i didtnt drop out but i failed senior English and never went to summer school, so im considered a drop out, and dont do it, i had to take a ged test and get 15 college credit just to be looked at as an equal to a higschool graduate, not worth it my man.

p.s i guarantee you will regret it, i may have been ok with it upuntil a year after highschool, but now theres nothing i regret more than missing those opportunities to experience positive growth in intellect and morals. even just social ability that you gain in school is helpful, dont miss the opportunities you have to learn, they get harder to come by as you get older, and there's millions around the world who wish they could go to school.
