Although there's a ranking system in this forum, it seems that most members criticize the quality of a thread based on how high or low a member is. I'm still a Genin, and I have ran into many users criticizing me or other members, just cuz we're Genins. I don't know, it seems to me a bit absurd, but this is the internet, i can't do anything.

Your sig and avatar are probably more important, than your rank. If you have a good looking sig and avatar I think people read over those comments more often since their eyes are attracted to the reply. Anyone that makes fun of you for your rank is just being mean, just ignore them.
