Hidan is almost immortal. i read somewhere that he devoted or gave his soul to this Jashin God. That's why he always does this ritual thing everytime he kills someone.

Most Akatsukis are almost immortal, like Sasori, Kakuzu, and others i wont be bothered telling.

His head got cut off by Shikamaru and got buried somewhere in Nara's forest. He's prolly alive, the head i mean. but yeah, coz it hasnt been fed, it might have gone rotten, im not sure.
