Hidan was really powerful

People tend to dislike Hidan and say he was weak and in my opinion he was one of the stronger members in Akatsuki and had the potential to be feared in the organization
But he had some major issues that didnt allowed him to reach that potential
Here are my reasons:
1- he didnt take anything seriously
2- he was arrogant and overconfident
3- he was a loudmouth which gave away his techniques
4- he was impatient and got into battle without any strategy or plan
5- he trusted his inmortality to much

If Hidan could have fixed those issues he could have been one of the most powerful in Akatsuki

I always liked hidan. Cool character and soem dope abilities. Definitely could of assassinated a kage in a surpise attack if they had no intel about his immortality. A great messenger of jashin as well

Hidan lacked speed, any sort of DC and any sort of durability/defense. You just can't be in the Top 15-20 w/o any of the two. Him being calm, collected and more analytical wouldn't really change his standing in Akatsuki.

Still, his abilities are by far one of the most terrifying, and he's pretty entertaining.

Akatsukis like any other character have the opportunity to get stronger,not only ninja from the 5 great nations can get stronger

He was a funny mad bastard tho. Lasted longer than the other akatsuki members prolly.

simply having a slightly haxxed technique based on physical touch made doesn't make somebody really powerful. It's basically been put out there in canon that the only reason he was allowed in Akatsuki was because his immortality made it difficult for Kakazu to kill him.

He was powerful,but he battled without thinking and that was his weakness.

Madara was overpowered,he put too much faith in Zetsu and that lead him to it's own downfall.

Hidan could've improved but he didn't even think like Ninja's do.
