hidan vs yamato may as well be mifune vs hashirama.

...im sure there are much better match ups to be had than this

Bad match up for Yamato. Hidan would win by outlasting his opponent.

Hidan would win this since Yamato has no way of putting him down.

Hmmm Yamato has the range advantage which sucks against Hidan >.> However his evasive and scythe prowess using range could give him the edge here especially as Yamato's attacks aren't known for their speed

because yamato cant create a wooden 747 hangar w/ 1 seal
Hidan would win this since Yamato has no way of putting him down.
he crucifies him on a tree
Bad match up for Yamato. Hidan would win by outlasting his opponent.
he cant even track yamato w/ mole jutsu & wood clone

Is yamato smart enought to use mokuton to dismember hidan

He can easily bind him like he did Kabuto. Walk up to him and cut his head off with a kunai

Yamato is severely underrated!

I know he has the power to do it,
But I just don't remember his intellectual feats, it's not hard to beat Hidan lol

Do you have to have high intelligence to think of something so simple?

Why would Yamato divide his power or hide underground?
The premise for his hypothetical defeat lies solely in the non sufficient firepower of his arsenal, not in ways to avoid Hidan, outsmart him, etc...

Why would Yamato divide his power or hide underground?
supposedly yamato cant deal w/ his speed so I countered that.
outlasting means avoiding being put down & since yamato can clearly dominate him tactically, speed must be the culprit

''dividing his power'' is a pathetic overstatement, just a desperate wordplay w/ a jutsu definition.
Relative to hidan, it blatantly multiplies his quantitative ''power'' by feats
''hiding'' is a trite reverse psychological ploy; it doesn't threaten me at all

So U mean why would yamato try to win? because this is a combat scenario.

QUOTE]The premise for his hypothetical defeat lies solely in the non sufficient firepower of his arsenal, not in ways to avoid Hidan, outsmart him, etc...
then clearly, that's a bullcrap premise by any observation....U almost sound like U got that ''premise'' in an unwritten fanatical rulebook, whereby hidan proponents blindly trumpet his categorical faux-superiority over those shinobi deemed too irrelevant+++fodder anemic in attack.
_hopefully U aren't parroting such jibberish.

yamato hard counters & stomps, as hidan is the ninja w/ insufficient offense(& defense)

Yamato mid diff. As long as he keeps hisndistance, which any long ranged combatant with mayflower can easily do, he won't have too much trouble.

Yamato should take it. His mokuton can absorb/surpress chakra like he showed when they were interrogating Kisame. So he keeps his distance, uses wood cloens, mayfly as distractions, and dismembers Hidan with his mokutons.
