Kimimaro, much more skilled in Taijutsu, plus he won't let Hidan get his blood, and even if he did Bone Forest would kick him out of the circle

Hidan actually wins, eh? He kept up with Asuma in taijutsu(and Kakashi briefly, IIRC). Kimimaro is definitely not used to handling his type of opponent and Hidan will undoubtedly get one scratch and perform the ritual. Kimimaro likes to impale, scratch or stab, it's not very useful vs Hidan. He can perform the ritual here, after his scythe abruptly extends and scratches him. Kimimaro can do whatever he wants from this point or any point but it's too late, Hidan wins without too much difficulty.
