Hidan got the blood and performed the ritual. Biju's cloak couldnt protect Yugito from the ritual. Cloak wears off and Hidan throws a pike into her hands.

yes it shows kakuzu did something. youre saying kakuzu let hidan solo based off words and nothing more, but theres no proof hidan soloed and in fact its shown that the 2 tails went for kakuzu as well, do u think the 2 tails only focused on hidan? yugitos goal was to kill both of them, so why would the 2 tails fight only one of them

If Hidan failed miserably, Kakuzu wouldve mentioned it several times after the capture but he didnt say shit. He just told Hidan to hurry up with the ritual. Hidan also says he was the one doing the heavy lifting by focusing on Bijuus whereas Kakuzu was slowing them down with greed for $.
