Nah I think hidan would still defeat Asuma. I dont know why but am not to fund of Asuma to me kishi could of made him stronger he is the 3rd hokage son just saying

I know right his father was one of the strongest kages of all time while he was a high jounin at best still strong but nothing special compared to his father.

Hidan, asuma was only able to touch hidan because of shikamaru's help if shikamaru was not there asuma and the other 2 guys would have been murdered by hidan all by himself.
