If i remember correctly we dont know Hidan's immortality limitations . . . after all its a jutsu. Also notice that he did a odd killing ritual that took a lot time and pissed Kakazu off. It may be that by killing people he made himself immortal for certain period of time. So he may be dead after all . . . .
