Hidan & Kakuzu vs. Fuu

I've been waiting for this moment for the entire arc. I only expected 1 or 2 minutes of action between H&K and Fuu, but instead Fuu meets them in the forest and it immediately cuts to the ending credits.

Come oExn writers, you can do better than that.

Yeah it was a huge letdown, and to make it worse they made her ungodly retarded, saying she'd want to be friends with Kakuzu although she knows he murdered people from her own village.

There's no fight to be had.

She was ass and pretty much offered herself on a plate with the idiotic remark of trying to befriend S-Rank criminals. She wasn't like Utakata in that he was level-headed and pragmatic (I.e. He wasn't going to go to lengths to try and have tea with them.

There really would be no fight, just Kakuzu tying his threads around Fuu to restrain her whilst Hidan mopped up the Jounin retinue.

Yugito had the ability to turn into the two tails itself and still got rekted.

Fuu just didn't have the control needed to actually put up much of a resistance, and her body guards were two average Jounin level Shinboi.

I don't think we need an animation to see how that fight would turn out.

Not to mention, she's an idiot.

isnt Fu a perfect Jinn? She could fly with 7 tail wings. When she was controlled by obito, she could spin cocoons and shit. I thought it wouldve been a good fight but hidan & kakuzu will take it low-mid diff.

I hate to say it...but Hidan and Kakuzu are just to strong for Fu and her bodyguards. H&K win with low to mid diff.

It was a classic asspull indeed. They show the most stupid fights during the fillers, yet they skip this one.. Because of the caliber of this fight, it had to be good animation. They didn't want to put too much effort in so just left it open imo. We know Fuu would've lost easily but it's about screentime and perhaps Hidan or Kakuzu would've went 1v1.

Ikr, and I thought Utakata vs Pein was bad? Hell even that fight got some justice as a "padded" filler. :eww: Which reminds me, I wonder if Pierrot will do the same with Fuu vs Hidan and Kakuzu? h:

This filler ep was pretty epic.

This episodes ending was dark as hell. Fuu's obvious death, that Rain girl dying on the first mission (obviously Konan planned for her death). I did not expect.

Utakata had no hance against the 6 Pain's, but they still gave us an extended version of the fight later on (when Naruto met all the Bijuu I think).

They could have given Fuu a 1 or 2 minute struggle, of course she has no chance, but it would be more entertaining than what we got here.

They can't show the fight since that sick basted hidan probably raped her afterwards and they can't show that on a cartoon that was going to air on American tv

Utakata was much smarter and I daresay much more battle adept. He didn't walk right up to the enemy with his guard down and offer to be friends; basically Fuu was very easy prey. She had no chance to put up resistance and nothing in the Jounin's arsenal could touch even Hidan.

It would be a waste of time seeing a 10 second clip of Fuu being bound and strangled by Kakuzu whilst Hidan one shots her retinue and furthermore destructive of anything left of her reputation.
