Gai is crazy strong but kinda thick headed, he would probably eventually get caught by Hidan's curse, give Kakashi a long winded but moving dying words, eternal rivals blah blah blah. Kakashi now knows Hidan's secret but is now fighting Kakuzu with five hearts and Hidan... by himself.

i agree....but gai is one of the fastest shinobi in the world......and hidan is the slowest 1 in akatsuki ....how the f**k he going to Catch gai!!!

i would think hidan and kakuzo, kakashi could barel mangae to keep up with the five hearts and hidan is immortal and can take damage from gai's taijutsu...so idk

All he needs is a drop of blood to start the curse and all of his attacks and tactics are all based on that principle. There is a great chance that Gai will land many many blows on Hidan, but he is immortal, eventually he'll have to land a single cut.
