Hidan had a potential to be great, he's my fave character of akatsuki but definately not in the top 5 in skill.
He's to cocky and just...stupid. Give Hidan say..... Minato's genius...and you would have OP beyond EMS madara....

He doesnt have to be most skilled , his jutsu is one of the most powerful ! As far as being cocky ,if you couldnt be killed you would be cocky too

Yet still he needs time to finish it... What ninja do you think that it'll wait for him?
And that technique is active while he has the victim's blood in his organism, after that, it's cancelled.

Given the circulatory system at a certain point, his technique will be rendered ineffective.

Even Hidan who is older than time (joke inside) stated that there is no such thing as immortality. You just trick things by some means. But truly immortal, no.

That doesnt make him weak . Shikamaru is a genius with days of prep time . even lured him to a particular spot to exucute his plans. Are you going to tell me everyone in akatsuki has shikamaru genious and secret trap spot ?

I happen to have a phone as well and use it sometimes around the base and the multi-quote actually worked.
You don't have to respond this now, anyway.
You could do it later when you're at a computer.
What would happen if all the members of NB would be on a phone and not use multi-quote feature just because they're on a phone?
