Before you guys jump off your high horse im going to be realistic here.
THis is a fight presumed with no intel on hidans abilitys.
So there fighting right hidan is getting badly beaten so he decides to retreat and the opponent whoever he is is confident that he won but out of no where dies.

Hidan was smart enough to get blood and run and prepare his ritual while he was losing.
He either hid somewhere or something.
I'm not saying he is really top 10 but can at least kill any ninja except for those edos.

Madara senses you from a mile away and crushes you with a meteor.

OT: I get what you're saying. And he can get a hit on anybody, he just needs to pretend that hes dead after a fatal wound. Then when the person comes close to make sure he's dead just pop out, get 1 cut, and pretend you're dead again. Then when the person leaves do the ritual.

Most if not all of the people in top 10 arnt going to be foolish enough to let him do his own thing, their battle analysis (kakashi,nagato, kabuto ect) will tell them that him changing couour and a ritual means some form of negative activities, plus they won't come of him, they would constantly chase him in high persuit and knowing hidans poor speed, he won't get far
