You provided the scan for the Raiton blast, not the Fuuton blast.
................ Huh?
You provided the scan for the Raiton blast, not the Fuuton blast.
Because hidan got decapitated by a fuuton knife specifically designed for high powered cutting. kakuzu's jutsu uses pressure to crush.Hidan is Kishi's biggest plot hole. How can he survive that, but be decapitated easily. Your argument is acceptable.
He most likely tanked it. The jutsu crushes with wind pressure, not slices. If what OP says were remotely true, then kakashi would have more cuts on his clothes instead of a missing jacket and a nipped mask. It's most likely his jacket hooked on debris/he removed it, and his mask got snipped by some debris. Hidans coat stayed on because his back was facing the jutsu, thus his jacket was being blown on him (wrapping around his body tightly) than off him - which is what would happen if the air was being blown from the front-inside of the jacket. Kakashi just got nipped by debree while hidan didn't.Your completely right who believed he did anyway? Honestly some of the confusion on the base is just amusing.

Otherwise, you're saying that hidan is faster than kakashi since he completely avoided an attack which was closer to him, that a sharingan user could barely dodge? lol... Even kakazu said it's only because of the sharingan he escaped. Hidan doesn't have a sharingan, nor is he psychicly linked to kakuzu to know exactly when the mask will release it's attack.
It doesn't matter. He had his back turned to it, he could never know when the blast would be shot. He isn't psychically linked to kakuzu. Furthermore, Kakashi has a sharingan, and saw the mask appear behind hidan - with his sharingan - while hidan was still in his sharingan sight. Therefore, Hidan could never move out of that masks attack before kakashi could easily see him. Nor could hidan move away before kakashi could seeing as he was withing kakashi's sharingan sight along with the mask. Kakashi would have the fastest reaction and be the first candidate to initiate a dodge because, once again, he has a sharingan. Hidan doesn't, and his back was turned. The only other explanation is that hidan is faster than kakashi since he'd have a slower reaction time, because he doesn't have a sharingan to predict exactly what is going to happen, meaning he'd move after kakashi, but still completely dodge the attack? No. Either hidan tanked the attack, or he's alot faster than kakashi, and I doubt hidan is faster than kakashiHaving partnered with Kakuzu for years, Hidan might have known the attack was coming.

Key word here: PROBABLY. Read it over: "they've PROBABLY practiced that move a thousand times," Again, all just assumptions. Don't call me a fanboy because I despise Hidan. I'm just stating facts. I have provided evidence to show that you are making assumptions. Also, it is your OPINION that they are the "best" duo in the series. Best is an opinion word.Lol you still don't get it.
Hidan and Kakuzu are one of the best duos in the series, practice and teamwork wise. They KNOW each other's attacks, they've probably practiced that move a thousand times, just so Hidan knows exactly when Kakuzu will shoot. It's like Ay's and Bee's lariat, it's perfectely coordinated, even though they arn't linked.
Hidan has an evasive advantage at this point, he could have used his scythe to get leverage on a tree and move himself, since he's done it before. Kakashi was at a disadvantage since he was just flying through the air.
I still come here just to read if you are sincre about your interpretation or just trolling.
Im still debating on that. Here is a hypothetical question.
What happens if Hidan "did" get hit by the blast/side effects
He would have had damage on his cloak in some form.
Im talking the character personally not his clothes. What will happen to him
This is still going on? Any new developments in either side's argument? Who's winning this?
So pictures>everything?
Okay. Then Naruto is a cloud ninja. Or Kishi makes mistakes, your choice.

Small, almost unnoticable mistake.
Huge plothole that refutes Hidan's tanking feat.
Hmmmm.
Alright, I'll make it a bit more relevant.
Here we see Kakashi's injury from Obitos cross-slice.

But like magic, Kakashi has sown his teared clothing.

Under sights do happen.
Ouch. I kinda took that to heart.Your sig tells me all I need to know about you.
Sir yes sir; he did correct his mistake.Let me say again:
Small, irrelevant mistake: Kakashi's vest is missing scratches. Care to post any scans after that? Did Kishi draw them in again?
Plothole: Fuuton blows off Kakashi's jacket built to with stand blasts, Hidan's cloak is perfectly fine and shows no extra damage, not even later.
Ouch. I kinda took that to heart.

But then decided Kakashi should have adept sewing skills again.

Yeah I'm not refuting that at all, in fact that was a good find on your part. I'll even agree with the OP in that Hidan can sustain injury.
But if you are going against the popular "misconception" that Hidan actually tanked the blast, then you must believe he avoided, no?
But even to believe that, you'd have to believe that he:
a) Avoided an attack aimed at his blindspot from short-mid range
b) Has the capability to move faster than the rate of explosion from the attack.
Well I can justify that in that Hidan and Kakuzu are one of the greatest and well polished duos in the Manga. Hidan would have known exactly when that attack was coming, and then used his scythe as a means to move himself midair by hitting a tree.
And no offense, you're not that bad, I've just had bad experiences for anyone arguing for Hidan.
From Kakuzu's Fuuton?
He surely would have had bones broken, skin torn, limbs missing from the joints, as is apparent from the fact the blast managed to destroy trees.
