Le me explain thiz with support from manga scans. I don't mean he wanted to kill her himself but he was kinda hoping she would die and he didn't really care about that.Of courze he would never express this direktly he was forced to pretend during war.

Now take a look at thiz scan and read it completely :

Le me azk you a queztion :

Why Hanabi who was superior as said by Hiashi directly didn't participate in teh war ???

Answer is Hiashi cared about her so he didn't want to risk her possible death in war.He didn't want to lose future heiress of klan.

Yet he didn't mind Hinata going into teh war. Keep in mind he called her failure and superfluous to Hiyuga klan. Its clear he was wishing for her death.

Another proof is fakt that Hinita doesn't know Rotation. Rotation is Hiuyga klan main defense jutsu without it you don't have proper way to defend against OP attacks. With this in mind Hiashi still allowed Hinata to fight in teh war.

There iz no room for any doubt Hiashi wanted Hinita's death in teh war.

Tanks for reading :)

Hiashi was so savage to his daughter.

I think as leader of one of strongest clans Hiashi cared about his reputation the most.Having failure like Hinata as daughter probably hurt his own ego , that explains those words he said about her and why he didn't mind if she dies.

<div class="bbWrapper">Hiashi never actually tried to help Hinata but instead kept hurting her but the opposite he was the failure not Hinata , and Hinata is a dumbass for even visiting him to this day as a family</div>

Yep, he sent her off knowing that genin can die and he said she's superflous(extra/unnecessary) to the Hyuga. The Hyuga aren't just the head house but the branch house also, her standing/worth is less than them.

how could she defeat Zetsu when the genius had bad times fighting them?

Hanabi was just too weak. That's why the Otsukisuki clan don't know about her or her feats on moon/war, because she featless. :lmao:

Hiashi in that moments: "I kicked the wrong one out" hahah

Children weren't allowed to participate in this war period.

The whole cadet branch of the Hyuga clan participated in the war but many of them dont know rotation.

Its an interesting opinion though.

Rotation is or at least was available to only leader and heir. With Neji being an exception, Hinata had no right at the time. We could say Hiashi should have gotten softer... but the db translation of Twin Lion fists proves as at that period before war, the old Hyuga laws were still being upheld albeit a little loosely.
