Well its for only a few things.
To buy GFX is one of the main reasons.
and if someone loses a battle in rp and they have consent before the battle,
there opponent is allowed to steal it.

What is "Kumi"?

Kumi is the monetary system on NarutoBase. It is earned by posting on the Forums of our site. It can be used as a reward for winning a contest or tournament or to pay another member for services they have completed, such as GFX.

How can I earn kumi?

There are a few ways on this site to earn kumi. One can earn 1.00 kumi when he or she creates a thread and 0.20 kumi when he or she posts a reply to a thread. One other way to earn kumi is by winning a contest or tournament or completing a service, such as GFX, for another member. (See What is GFX) The last way is through a donation, in which one member transfers kumi to another member. The reasons for a donation can vary. The last way is to steal kumi through RPG. (See How do I steal Kumi?)

It's also one of the for NB contests [Do not ask admins for it, the contest holder will handle it.]

How do I know how much Kumi I have?

The amount of kumi one has can be found in numerous ways. The main way is on your post, where it is displayed between "My Mood" and "Posts." Another way is to go to your profile under "Statistics". It is displayed under the header "NB Bank", and is between "Total Thanks" and "General Information". The last way is to go to the NB Bank Panel. (See How do I donate Kumi?.)

How do I donate Kumi?

o donate kumi, one must go to the NB Bank Panel. There are a few ways to access the NB Bank Panel. One is to go to the post of the person you want to donate kumi to, and click the amount of kumi they have. This will redirect you to the NB Bank Panel, with their name already filled in. The second way is to go to their profile and go to the person they wish to donate to and click the donate button next to their kumi amount. (For locating these, see How do I know how much Kumi I have?) Be careful! There is a fee for donating kumi. It is added to the amount of kumi you wish to donate. This means you cannot donate all your kumi at once and must have more kumi than the amount you wish to donate. If you are still unable to find it, click . When donating kumi, fill in the amount, the person's username, and a small message. If you do not wish to send a message, leave it as "A Donation".

Is there a way to view my donation history?

Yes. In order to view your donation history, go to the NB Bank panel. Below the "Donate Kumi" bar is a bar labeled "Your Account Information". Here, you can view the entire history of all kumi received and sent from the time the Kumi system was founded. It shows any information you may need to know from your kumi history.

I received a PM saying "You Have received a Donation!" What is this?

This message indicates that a person has donated kumi to you. In order to view more information on this donation, open the PM or check your donation history. (See Is there a way to vie my donation history?)

How do I steal Kumi?

There is only one way to steal kumi from another member. This is through the Battle RPG system. In battle RPG, when one states the rules, their is a part required called "Stealing." If this is set to "Yes", the loser must give all their kumi to the victor. They also lose their biography. The terms and conditions for this, such as the maximum amount that can be stolen, is set when the battle starts. Failing to donate your kumi to the victor can result in being banned from RPG, being banned from the monetary system, and having your kumi sent by an admin to the victor.

What are the rules for the monetary system?

Unfortunately, there is a small percentage of users who abuse the monetary system. These users create alternate accounts, spam for kumi, and send the kumi to the original account. Doing this can result in being banned from the monetary system and having your kumi revoked.

What is GFX?

GFX, or Graphics (from Greek γραφικός graphikos), are visual presentations on some surface, such as a wall, canvas, computer screen, paper, or stone to brand, inform, illustrate, or entertain. Examples are photographs, drawings, Line Art, graphs, diagrams, typography, numbers, symbols, geometric designs, maps, engineering drawings, or other images. Graphics often combine text, illustration, and color. Graphic design may consist of the deliberate selection, creation, or arrangement of typography alone, as in a brochure, flier, poster, web site, or book without any other element. Clarity or effective communication may be the objective, association with other cultural elements may be sought, or merely, the creation of a distinctive style. The main kind of GFX on NarutoBase is that created using a computer. This includes Avatars, Signatures, Wallpapers, Profile Pictures, User bars, etc. This can be requested in exchange for kumi in the forum under the category . There are certain shops in the forum, however one can request GFX simply by creating a thread detailing what they desire with the proper renders or stock.
