I agree with you to some degree. However while sometimes America takes things to far there are times where it was either america in your words "butted in" or innocent people die. But like I said I agree that America needs to back off in most cases.

Cause people don't truly desire peace. They look beyond the line,and point their fingers at other people while other country's are corrupted.. People are losing sight of whats impotent by looking at money,drugs,etc. What we need to do is come together right now and stand up for each other and don't let the rich (government) take control of the poor (the people).

I assume you are talking about the U.S. military or it's economic sanctions against certain countries and not talking about charitable donations, like Japanese earthquake relief, which I think are good things. If so, then I agree with you. Eisenhower summed it up quite well when he stated that the two things he was most concerned about was the war machine that WWII had created and Texas oil men. It is ridiculous that the U.S. spends 6X what the rest of the world combined spends on their military. It has become common practice for the U.S. to get involved in a war every 15 years so that veteran force can teach the next generation. How many problems could be fixed if we reduced the military spending to half of what we currently spend? It is quite disheartening when you try to have these discussions some folks just shut down and don't want to talk about it.

We all know the world is littered with problems and some very atrocious crimes but do you really need to wedge yourself in someone else's problems? I find it hypocritical when people tell other people what they are doing wrong when they themselves are guilty of the same thing (if not worse)?

Maybe the new generation of Americans who are not stupid and lazy can learn a thing or two about butting into other people's business before fixing their own problems. I mean, if you want to be a rolemodel or some savior of the world, make sure you are not guilty of the same thing. But alas, humans will be humans, in that we always are after our own interests without regard for others.

Anyways, america has a lot of problems which i think it needs to solve first before going hey lets go try to fix their problems. I am not saying that these problems are unimportant, because they are not, but you have to look at the root of the problem. People think that by starting at the top then it will trickle down to the bottom which is not the way to solve the problem. It starts with the roots which caused the big problem in the first place.

Let's say for example, uganda. I am not very knowledgeable in the countries problems so i will not go too in depth with the subject.

They have many problems of which crime is the biggest followed by poverty . The both go hand in hand since one leads to the other and vice versa. Instead of going in and killing rebel leaders or government officials maybe you should look at what got them there in the first place.

Crime is brought on because people who are poor cannot maintain themselves on the economy and thus turn to crime to force money out of people. Some people stand up to this crime and they end up dead. The problem escalates out of control because there is no one left to oppose these leaders or everyone is left scared and intimidated.

Things like this some people tend to overlook.
