It was a dark cool day in the Sight* of Zuzema. The trees here were autumn-like as always, and the stormclouds over the town were different colors that if you see them, and you didn't like scary things, you would run out of this Sight in a jiffy. Here it looked like Halloween all the time.
The town's buildings were made of stone, and some were very tall while others were very short.
On a hill outside the town lied Deaths Manor, and thats where this story begins...
About twenty people were in the room of Master Death who lied in his bed dieing. A blue short but long hair boy who wore all black was there. A monster he created who had no neck, and was very huge sat behind him, and a small creature who looked like the miniature version of Master Death-Grim Reaper-was there standing by the blue-haired boy. This creature had a big long skull, and despite his size, being the smallest one there, he has lived for hundreds of years, but he was still young.
Master Death's skull was very cracked, and after a few minutes he would cough a lot. The other people in the room where the townspeople, who looked scary as usual.
"Hesol..." said Master Death raising his arm like he was reaching for him.
"Yes?" asked Hesol, the blue-haired kid.
'Cough Cough' "Before I die, I must have a successor...I think you are my best hope..."
"Wait? What? What about Giribo? He's been your apprentice for over hundreds of years."
"Yes, he has, but he has already refused, because he felt you are the one who will have my Death Scythe..."
The other people and creatures in the room were stunned whispering to each other loudly, and yet excited. The only ones who were not in the room were Bibi the cute and huge ghost baby who was entertaining the monster Hesol created named Frankentosser. Giribo, the apprentice, who looked like Master Death, was ready to hear the rest of what Master Death had to say, and if Hesol would say yes.
In his palm a black bladed, and red scythe that had 選択されたライフ (Chosen One) inscribed on the side of it.
Hesol looked at the Death Scythe stunned. He didn't know if he should take it from Master Death or not.
"Wait, but are you sure about me? I don't even know what the Death Scythe does? There was a legend that you use it to take somebody who's about to die, is that really true?"
"Hoho," Master Death chuckled at this. "Is that what creatures think nowadays? Hehe, the Death Scythe is a weapon that can either bring life, or death...but the rest...I'll let you figure out...unless you refuse, which I understand kind of-"
"I will not refuse Master Death," said Hesol. "You are the one who brought me up since I was a baby, you have done everything for me...now I will do something for you, as well..."
Master Death chuckled again and his cough got so bad, it made your throat feel bad.
Hesol took the Death Scythe. Master Death's skull was starting to turn to dust. A tear went down Hesols cheek, and he wiped it.
Everyone there looked at Master Death as he was saying his last words.
"Hesol, something will come..."
Before he finsihed his sentence Master Death and everything he was wearing, mainly his hooded black robe turned to ash.
Most people and creatures were crying, while some were not. Master Death protected the Sight for his whole life, and everyone owed thanks to him.
Giribo used his magical powers, by using his hands, to pick up the ash, and put it into a pot that had シール (Seal) inscribed on it.
Afterwards everyone went to The Abandon Well where people who have died, and turned to ash were poured into, unless they wanted to, of course.
After several goodbyes, all the Zuzema residents there left to get to their homes.
Hesol held the Death Scythe, and was still stunned' yet amazed. He looked at the stars above-the clouds have left earlier-and thought, Master Death...for you..!!
Giribo looked at the scythe. "He said something will come...I wonder what that something is..."
Hesol heard him, and wondered too. He turned around to see Frankentosser playing in the mud. Hesol laughed, and said we are going home. They and Giribo left for Hesols apartment which was located in Zuzema Square.
At Death's Manor a portal filled with darkness appeared. Two people appeared in Master Death's room. One wore a hooded black robe, and a skull mask, and the other wore a hooded black robe as well. The face was hidden in the dark.
"So...old Master Death finally died huh..."
"He has...what a shame..." said the Skull Mask one in a girlsih voice.
The Skull Mask one walked closer to the bed. "It seems, he gave the Death Scythe already..."
"He has...so what should we do?
The Skull Mask took off her hood, and the mask. She had long black hair, red eyes, and sharp fangs. "Hehe, we will just find whoever it, and when we do we'll kill him!! Hahahahaha!!"
