They're not bad, but IMO the first one looks like you added to many brush marks to it. Ehhh Ima a simple guy so I like simple things but they're okay. PS or Gimp?

i usely use Gimp but for the Air Sig i use Photoshop CS6:sasuke:

nop, I can see and tell exactly what you did here. There's no idea behind it. Just few over sized brushes on the bg and front - boom. fat strokes

Adding random brush stroke does not make an air sig...and when you make an air sig does not mean you could kiss good bye to blending the render with its BG.

Where's the blending, fading. You need to use more brushes and colours but make them look as one, if you get my drift.

dont ever resize the render, because it looks that the colors are more inportant than the character. but you did imroved great job!
