Imagine if madara killed naruto and when the alliance arrive they realise they arrived too ****ing late,if this happened and with the kages k.o how would the alliance who are fodder shit compared to naruto be able to stand a chance against naruto oh and before i forget sasuke not only got the info he needed but is even more hellbent on revenge so much so that with the help of orochimaru he resurrects the entire uchiha clan including those from madaras era and they turn up on the battlefield and team up with obito and madara and start killing people and rule the shinobi world.

You're getting them confused with Vegeta and Goku, I doubt Sasuke really gives a f*ck about naruto he just wants revenge, Sasuke only said he was gonna fight Naruto cause Naruto said at all costs he's gonna protect the village.

i agree itachi stopped the edo but madara escaped the release i think sasuke will try and take out madara just for itachi since he tried so hard to stop the tec.
