Henge no Jutsu

Given that the Henge no Jutsu can fairly accurately disguise someone, why is it that this technique is essentially abandoned after the first season of Naruto (not including the Oiroke no Jutsu). I cannot imagine that it has to do with sensory ninja, because it is stated that they are decently rare. Other than that, chakra sensing dojutsu, such as Byakugan and Sharingan can sense it, but regular ninja like Naruto (pre-sage mode), Sai, Sakura, etc. wouldn't be able to tell the difference, making this an extremely effective technique that stopped appearing during the chunin exams.

Too Op...even Doujutsu can't see through it.

Dojutsu would be able to see it because it requires a constant emission of Chakra, that would be a tell-tale sign of the Henge no Jutsu.

Ik this is an old thread, sorry lol. Yeah, but the Rinnegan, at least when pain used it, wasn't able to see chakra (although I think Sasuke's rinnegan would be able to see it, but that may just be because he has the sharingan). When Pain never expressed the ability to see Chakra, which is why Kakashi's lightning shadow clone was able to fool him. If you remember, Neji and Sasuke were both able to see when Naruto was a clone or not, so the fact that Pain couldn't tell, suggests to me that he cannot see chakra.
