Helpful Signature Advice ;)

Hi guys,

I wanted you let you guys know, if you didn't already, that there is a way to make the url adresses smaller which is helpful when adding stuff to your signature.

Normal Members are limited to 3 lines
Premium Members are limited to 5 lines

I know there are some url addresses that are quite long and may take up more than a line.


Example:

One such url shortner I found was Tiny URL.

You are more than welcome to google it and start using it. It makes things easier for me when editing my signature or when posting pictures in my screenshots thread.

btw link shorteners aren't a very trust worthy method, as you cannot make sure which website you're being linked to until it's too late, and they are widely associated with viruses and spam, so make sure to not click links from link shorteners unless their from someone you trust ^_^

Also now a days people are using merged Pictures which is fairly easy to do. If you want multiple pictures in your signature and you have some banners, i would suggest you to ask any Graphic designer in nb to combine them into one image, but make sure you dont ask to exceed the size limit of signature which is 650x300 px.

i meant "another" as in another way to overcome the number of line's limit, shortening the links is one way, and hiding the link inside anchor text is another

Advertising refers to other anime/manga sites, not a place such as tiny url. o.o
