I would use wikipedia as a source in terms of information gathering. Its pretty solid in terms of credibility on topics such as war.

Basically, A Serbian man living in Austria-Hungary, decided to kill the Austria-Hungary leader. He was a nationalist and wanted Serbia to expand. Because of this, Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia.
Germany is allied with Austria-Hungary, so they were going to help them fight the Serbians. But Serbia was allied with Russia. So a fight between Germany and Russia was about to go down.
Russia was allied with France and England. So Germany was about to fight Russia, France, and England. Then they started to fight.

This sums it up the name of the name of the assasin was Gavrilo Pricip as Ibrahim stated he was a nazi and was part of and terrorist organization called Young Bosnia. The goal of the organization was too fre Bosnia from the from the rule fg Austria-Hungary. prince Franz Ferdinad (he was the son of the leader not the leader himself ) was assasinated on June the 28th of June 1914 and on July 28th the war started. the reason why Serbia was attacked is becouse they were helping the organization. the assasin was arested and a few other people and they all died in prison , aparently they were poisoned.
