help with sigs O.o?

I've decided to maybe learn how to make some sigs or at least learn the basics of how to do so just for fun.

My current knowledge of how to make a sig is about 0 (I know how to use the paint brush tool xd )

The only photo editors I have are paint ( ) and GIMP 2, Im too poor/lazy to buy a good photo shop , So my first question is....


Will GIMP 2 suffice for making sigs/ pc art?

my second question is...

If not is there any better photo editors that are free(virus free too I hope) that I should get?

and my final question is....


can someone give me a tutorial on the basics that I should learn, or send me a link of the basics I should learn, to begin making or, or begin learing how to make a sig?

By more important stuff, do you mean the basics? You can find such videos easiest on Youtube.

Photoshop costs money though

It does, but there are many ways to get the full version free. Torrents, rar. etc. You can get a crack (a file that you download which makes it free) or use a search engine for working serial numbers. However, that's as far as I will tell you, sharing any such thing here is against the rules.
