Its basically, episodes that go into more character depth and fill in the gap of timeline and etc. For example the episodes after the Naruto vs Sasuke battle, all were fillers BUT they showed more about the characters then just the manga. Basically the expand the Series and make it kinda better. And yes they are considered Canon. (you will get alot of trolling for this)

lol, i guess it wasn't that bad. Guren's crystal jutsu was good but I couldn't stand listening to the kid whining about wanting a place to go home to, I swear that's all he said :mugi:
