i was typing up a topic and my laptop shut down, however , during i was typing it said in the right hand corner "auto save".... is there any way i can resume my topic that i was typing? :'(

Yes if you go to the thread you were typing on, go to the quick reply bar, and on the bottom left corner you should see a sign that says "Restore auto save content" something like that, and you click it, and all the stuff you were typing earlier should be there. Then you could continue typing from where you left off =D

Go to that section and then click post new thread like you did before.

On the text box where you type there should be a button on the bottom left of the box, inside the gray border, that says restore saved blah blah... click it.

However, it's possible that you wrote over that saved content when you created this thread.

I don't know, but I think it will be saved at it shoed Auto-saved in the rght side. I think you should try make new thread and find it ther, restore saved content. Press it and continue. If it works, don't forget to post it here that it works. I have the same question too.
