I have recently started Anime and I like it.
My question is that .. Is Anime cannon to Manga or should I ditch anime and start manga ?

I watched the season 1, Its great.
It ended with Sins winning against Hendrickson.
So which chapter will be continuing to that ?

The Anime is Canon yes. Everything is. However, I think if you want the most serious side with less censoring you should read the manga as season 2 isn't coming out any time soon and some god-like things have happened since the Hendrickson fight.
