Help On Gimp >_>

Can anyone help me with Gimp getting a stock image behind a render? Sorry if I'm not making sense but I'm a noob at this.

Well, I figure you'd just do file > open as layer, and make it so the render is above the image in the layers section. Like in the layer window, click the one on the left "open layers dialog"
