It needs to be reflowed.
Do you know what a reflow is without a google search?

Taking it back and getting them to replace it with a brand new one is an easier way and SAFER way of doing a reflow. Not anyone should be doing reflow.

Plus it'll be brand new.

I don't have any experience with HP, however if they have a return policy sure it will help. I mean you get a brand new one opposed to using the current one repaired.
