If you are going for programming, any kind, then your future is set. Its a great field and people need more of you all the time. I am going for management but it is easier for me to find Programming than management <_<;;

If you have math issues, but you really want to be a programmer, you should take extra courses or catch up on your own in your free time. Truth be told, not a lot of people have the patience and discipline to do it, but if you really want it, you'll have to. :)

Someone invented a calculator so learning maths is somewhat useless now. Just buy a calculator and learn some nerdy engineering stuff.

any type of engineering is going to require a heavy math load (calculus I,II,& III, statistics, maybe even linear equations). As a software engineer you will also have to learn to do conversions from decimal, to hexadecimal and binary.

My advice is find what you are the most passionate about and follow that. If you love coding, then become a software or computer science engineer. If you love cooking, be a cook. If you love animals and biology, become a vet... or a zookeeper. If you love money, become a tax accountant and get a masters degree. If you like "etc" maybe you should do general studies until you figure out your calling.

If you're trying to become a programmer, and that's your goal in life then go for it, ignore the people that say it's hard, (yes it might be hard if you cannot do conversions like SY said) but to some people its just as easy as walking. I've learned programming, the only reason I'm not too fond of it is merely because I am lazy...

I love cooking, my food may look horrible but has a pretty good flavor, if you only want to learn cooking so that it may help you later on in life, but not as a career, then just try to learn from your mom,friends,relatives,etc...

I can't give you any advice for the animal parts as I don't have that much interest in animals...

Just try to find something that appeals you the most...
