Does anyone know how old a premature baby be considered to be too young to try to save it's life?

(there's a family issue and i would like to know, please.)

I don't think there is a set number. I'm pretty sure at any given age they try to save the baby. I was seven months old at birth, two months early. I had both an undeveloped brain and undeveloped lungs. I had to go undergo operations three weeks post delivery. I'm turning seventeen Friday and I live a normal life for the most part. A C-Section obviously is the method of delivery majority of the time for premies. I have heard babies being born healthy and living as early as six months.

Doesn't matter how old, any premature baby can be saved. I know my nephew was like I think 3months or something close to that and he survived. My brother was the same I think he was something like that too.

There isn't a set age limit, though if the baby is born too early than the odds of survival go down but anything can happen so try to do everything you/the hospital can do

i wasnt sure what to belive at first but when i was sitting near a sink in the room we were in the nurse just thoughs a bunch bloody blanckets right beside me in the sink. Im looking at her like shes crazy (which she is).

well my mother and a whole bunch of other relitives were with us once she through the blankets in the sink my mother just started yell and cursing her out.

All I know is to try and stay level headed. Don't lose steam(Very HARD) but yeah. Thats all I can say, I hope all goes well though.

It's like bringing them to a happy place and then pushing them away if you let them dies,it might already be too late to say this but,a baby is hard work,but the joy it brings is endless,that's how God made us.

The father of the baby is trying to create a law suit (that nurse refused to save the child). I think it could win. and i would testify. about the nurse not doing her job.

And thank you for your comments/advice it is extremely helpful (just easier ssaid than done)
