Help me decide on what to buy with $600


PS4: Pros
Cheap, friends have them, will stay current for long time

Cons: Not backwards compatible (no mw2!!!!) , Expensive games,


PC: Pros
Multimedia, fast, convenient

Cons: Probably cannot play games as well, laggy, friends dont have one, EXPENSIVE!!!

Plus the games come out later than the console versions and a lot of games don't even make it to the pc release.​

I've always prefered a good pc/mac to a console, but a good one is gonna cost you quite a lot more than 600$

so for pure gaming go for the ps

Unless you're just looking for some casual gaming, definitely go with the PC. You can get a good one for about 800 bucks, that'll stay current for quite a while. And laggy only depends on your internet connection.

Modding can be fun but if your computer isn't updated it can be annoying.

To get a beast that runs good graphics your going to be paying in the thousands.​

No, you don't.

First of all, you don't know what he wants to play, so you can't assume he needs a top of the line computer. For 800 bucks or damn near close you can get a system that'll be able to confortably max out about every game on the market right now, and probably anything that comes out within a year and a half, perhaps two. And that's just assuming he wants to play play those games.
